ENDURO RULES
- Any
driver climbing out of car during the green flag will be disqualified. NO
EXCEPTIONS!
- The
first car to complete the advertised laps is the winner.

Starting order will be discussed at the drivers meeting
- The
race will be started with 2 cars abreast
- Cars
will hold their position until the green flag is displayed.
- The
yellow flag will not be used. If there are cars with break downs or crashed,
the other cars will avoid the while continuing the race.
- The
red flag will be displayed only if the track is blocked and racing cannot
continue. All cars must stop once the red flag is displayed. The race will
be restarted with the cars in the same position as before the red flag. Any
car involved in the blockage that can continue may do so. No stalled car may
be removed from track unless car poses a safety hazard and is directed by pit
steward.
- The
flagman will indicate the middle of the race. The white flag will indicate
the leader is on the last lap.
- Each
entry must provide a scorer. A special area will be reserved for the scorer
where they can follow the instructions of the head scorer.

Driver changes are not allowed.
- A
mandatory meeting for all drivers and scorers will be held on race day. This
meeting will be held before the Enduro race.
- Race
may be run either clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Entry fees are non refundable. If entry fee is sold to another party,
Speedway
office must be notified.
- No
2-way radios or scanners allowed.

Rupture of gas tank and or loss of gasoline require immediate black flag.

Number will be in contrasting color to the car, at least 18” high painted on
the door. Number color must be highly visible.
- No
gestures or symbols. No profanity allowed.
- All
cars must be inspected and in the infield area starting at 4:00 PM race day.

Enduro is open to licensed drivers only.
- Cars
with flat tires must leave the racing surface. Drivers who ignore this will be
black flagged. Driving on rims will force Speedway to ban driver from any
future Enduro races.
THE CAR
AND BODY
1.
Any sedan or
station wagon is eligible. US made car.
2.
Minimum stock
wheelbase allowed 108”. No sub compacts allowed.
3.
Driver
protection bars are mandatory. They must remain within the “driver” area. At
no time may they pass through any firewall.
4.
Roll bars are
OPTIONAL. The roll bar may not reinforce the body or frame or alter the
geometry of the racer but serve only to hold the car off the driver when
overturned as a safety measure. Cage 4 point only. Bumpers must be welded and
chained to the body.
5.
No bracing of
any kind.
6.
All doors must
be welded, bolted or chained shut. Welds to be inspected.
7.
All glass must
be removed except for front windshield.
8.
Seat belts and
shoulder harnesses mandatory.
9.
Complete metal
firewall must seal the trunk area from the driver’s compartment.
10.
Complete
bumper to bumper steel unibody must be retained.
11.
The stock
steel unaltered floor pan, trunk floor and rear wheel wells must be retained.
No sectioning, chopping or channeling allowed.
12.
Cars must be
strictly stock. No holes in the hood. Hood must be kept in place at all
times. Body sheet metal must be kept in place at all times.
13.
Headlights and
taillights must be removed. All body side trim/ molding must be removed. All
interior upholstery must be removed (back seat, headliner, door panels and
carpet). Only accepted drivers seat is to remain.
14.
All cars must
have a windshield or Lexan windshield.
15.
Gas tanks must
be secured in trunk. Fuel cells ok, secured to trunk floor.
16.
Battery
may be relocated anywhere. Must be securely fastened and covered.
SUSPENSION

No modifying of suspension
is allowed. Adjustments to stock mounting only for camber.

Suspension parts must
remain absolutely stock for that make and model of car. No spacers, lumber or
chains, etc. may be used to alter stock suspension of car.
TIRES AND WHEELS
-
All four tires must be the
same size before, during and after the race.

Tires must be DOT Stock
Passenger car tires or Light Truck tires. No fancy exotic gumball tires of
any kind.

Maximum tire is 70 series
or metric equivalent.

No grooving of tires.
-
Racing wheels or white
spoke wheels allowed.
-
Wheel width maximum is
eight (8) inches.
ENGINE
-
The engine must be
strictly stock for that make and model in its original mounts. No factory
high performance parts allowed.

Exhaust system must be
factory stock for make and model back to rear or “Y” pipe. Muffler and tail
pipe may not be removed. No after market headers of any type permitted.

Compression 150 pounds
maximum. Must pull 15 inches of vacuum at 1000 rpm before and after the
race. No racing cams regardless of vacuum at idle.
Cam must be stock or stock
replacement. No lopey idles.
CARBURETOR
-
One stock 2 barrel or one
stock 4 barrel original carburetor only.
TRANSMISSION AND REAR END
-
Stock transmission and
rear end only. No factory high performance equipment allowed. Limited slip
and locked rear ends allowed.
MISCELLANEOUS
-
Approved seat belts and
shoulder harnesses are mandatory.

Approved fire suit and
helmet required.

Any loss of wheel requires
your immediate stopping on the racetrack. We will not allow any track
damage. Damage to grass or infield while displaying your temper will not be
tolerated and will be cause for the black flag or disqualification.

window nets MANDATORY.
